about

'Starfish Prime' is a 15 minutes-long instrumental piece that came about when I had the idea of making a song that didn't utilize drums and/or samples (which I use a lot), but I could only use 3 types of instruments with any effect that I wanted. The name 'Starfish Prime' came about when I was reading about it. So to keep the ambitious vibe of this experiment, I decided to name it after the largest man made nuclear explosion in outer space.

Instruments used: Contrabass, Piano and Bass.
